In many cultures and civilizations of the world, important political discussions, artist gatherings, romantic encounters, and meetings with friends take place in cafés.
Folks of Chandigarh escape their apartments and crowded streets by gathering in cafés ranging from eclectic, quaint, romantic, and convenient. To be honest, I fell in love with café culture in Chandigarh: living here showed me just how good coffee can be, and how seriously excellent baristas take their craft.
To my extreme pleasure, there’s been an influx of Australian- American-run coffee shops in Chandigarh in the last few years. And nationalities aside, it’s encouraged all cafes to up their game in coffee, food, and ambience.
Farzi Cafe Chandigarh is one of the best coffee shops in city beautiful which provides a retreat from the busy hustle of the tricity. This cafe has high energy, yet a relaxed vibe with accompanying tunes.
The word “Farzi” can have many connotations, but at Farzi Café, it has just one, “creating an illusion” with its cuisine. focused at the gourmet dinner as well as the youth of India, Farzi Café – Modern Indian Bistro, is best described as a gourmet experience amalgamating traditional global cuisine, with Indian influences, contemporary presentations, culinary styles, and ambience.
The place is a long Gully thoughtfully split into 3 sections of family dining to cater to the taste of all age groups. Spectacular Ambience, Majestic Decor, Hip-hop lounge with Tapping beats is what Farzi Cafe is ready to roll for its guest.
Drinks at Farzi are full of Mischief and Tongue Tantalizers. Just like the Fusion name, the Cocktails and Mocktails are refreshing, lively and a tongue twister.
In the Cocktails, we loved their Farzi Apple Foamintini that reminds you of the chemistry lab science fusions we all did back in school days.
The Minty foam and nitrogen hint make it a story tale. Another cocktail, which you must try is Bang Bang. A blend of Vodka, Rum, peach, orange, pineapple, lemon, and Angostura, this cocktail is an absolute knockout.
In Mocktails, you should try their best sellers ️ Date Me, which is a new add-on and one of my favourite now. Sweet, spicy, and tangy splurge of Tamarind, Sweet dates, and add-ons make it so apt for the Indian palate. If you like Kaafir, like me then another must-try is their Farzi Ok Mocktail, which is Citrus, and sublime Mojito.
The temptations we’re overloaded in Farzi menu with so many delicious appetizers, still we wanted to indulge more, but hardly left with much appetite, we ordered one of their Chef Special Mains Mutton Irachi Pepper Fry with Malabari Parantha.
Absolute delish, this Andhra mutton fry was to die for and was full of juices, flavours, and spice. Combined with a Supersoft flaky Malabari Parantha this is must try at Farzi Cafe.
Desserts are insatiable temptations for all of us and Farzi made it super tempting for us too. The Dirt Pile is a Gastroart that has everything loaded in it. The muddy lookalike Pile Compromises of Caramel praline, figs, nuts Chocolate dust, coconut scrap, and Chocolate truffle ball.
A big scoop of Vanilla Ice-cream and an outpour of Generous Chocolate sauce made it a sheer bliss. The dining experience at Farzi has been a Blissful Euphoria. You can’t believe it to be true until you visit and indulge in the delicacies they offer and the warmth of Hospitality they deliver.
